Hogan Assessment Systems (HAS) has become the US number one psychometric assessment tools provider and has also positioned itself among the top three EMEA suppliers. This was announced at the Hogan Summit CEE on September 20-23 in Prague, Czech Republic.
Top managerial level representatives of HAS providers from eight countries - Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, Hungary, Russia and Ukraine – attended the Summit which took place in the Century Hotel. As an official Hogan provider for Bulgaria, ACE’s Managing Partner Ekaterina Ignatova was the country’s representative to the event. Special guests to the Summit were Bill Monrose, Director of International Operations and Ryan Ross, Director Alliance&Partners.
During the event HAS representatives outlined the company’s leading position in the field of psychometry throughout the world by stressing on its global expansion. Hogan is already present in 40 countries and its assessment tools are available in 35 languages. In addition to its leading presence in the US and the EMEA region, the company step into Asia and Australia as well.
Another key point at the Summit was the introduction of Hogan’s new portfolio and its business-related effects. In relation to this, HAS representatives discussed the fact that the implementation of Hogan instruments generates a sure 100 % Return-of-Investment (ROI).
The new portfolio of HAS, which has established itself as the most valid psychometric tool provider, includes a number of new products, aimed to serve assessment purposes from entry to top level. The validity of Hogan’s instruments has been proved by more than 20 years of experience in scientific research. The HAS team conducts an average of 89 validation studies annually and 35 criterion-related validation studies. Each dedicated team includes two members committed entirely to supporting the HAS international partners.

A number of products are offered within this tool. The Advantage Report is a product suitable for entry-positions and ideal for high-volume screening. It evaluates general employability and can be implemented instantly.The Express Report compares results to an existing, research-based target profile and provides candidate strengths and weaknesses. The product has been developed for instant implementation.The Fit Report is ideal for customized high-volume screening. It compares results to a customized target profile and provides easy-to-interpret results. The Basis Report offers a comprehensive candidate’s assessment profile, validated selection recommendation and a summary strengths and development areas. This product integrates multiple assessments and also provides a candidate fit summary and an interview guide.
Hogan Develop is an assessment tool that generates different types of reports which provide the foundation for facilitating productive coaching conversation, gaining self awareness, development planning, goal setting, seeking feedback and considering employee opportunities. The Hogan Compass Report is a product aimed at entry to mid-level employees. It provides descriptive information and includes tips for career development. Other products within the Hogan Develop area which are suitable for assessment of entry to mid-level employees are the Hogan Manage Report and the Hogan Career Report. The former provides information managers can use to manage and develop the respondent, while the latter is a development-focused report for non-leadership level employees. Hogan Develop also includes other types of products aimed to serve various purposes. For example, the Management Development Report is a product which helps a new manager understand how to be most effective in his/her new role.
